Want to run a Web server at home on your Windows XP workstation? Bizzar.Server uses the incredible open source packages from Apache, PHP, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin; compiled into an installation executable which is already preconfigured for usage and automatically sets up start menu shortcuts. As always, everything I've done is supported at my forum for free and this download, though it weighs in at 16 megs, is sure to be the quick and easy web server you've been looking for. There is also an uninstaller if you want to remove it.

Version 2 uses Apache 2.0.59, PHP 5, and MySQL 5.

Pros
Download, click the setup and thats it. It's fully automatic. You just have to click on "Bizzar server 1" and a dos box appears and the server is now running. That's it. FANTASTIC. If you need a TESTING SERVER look no further. This should be incorporated into Dreamweaver (dreamveaver 8 found all the setting instantly). It makes life so simple when testing your web site. 10 Stars wouldn't be enough praise ********

A tiny bit more documentation for inexperienced users might be helpful but there is a .txt file (with the download) which if read is adequate.

Pros
I cannot stress hwo useful this is if you want apache webserver with PHP and MYSQl support, i previously spent literally hundreds of hours installing each individual part and trying to get them working together, but since then i have reinstalled windows and was looking fro a quicker version, i came across this and downloaded it with low expectations, but within just 5 minutes i had a webserver with PHP and MYSQL support, and no need to go around changing the configuration files!
Cons
the only slight annoyance is that to keep the server running you must have a batch file open at all times, but this is definately worth it!!
