This barcode plugin is developed with BizCode Java Barcode Generator, so it's both stable and easy to use. You just need copy file to Eclipse and installation is done.

This BIRT bar code plugin support printing over 20 barcode types in BIRT Report. Supported barcodes include QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF-417, UPC/EAN, Barcode 3 of 9, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, ISBN, ISSN, USPS Intelligent Mail. Barcode settings can be adjusted in the property table.
