Although we must voice some quibbles, lovers of jigsaw puzzles are likely to find BigJig challenging. When you launch the application, you'll see around 10 preset puzzles, most of which are old paintings of buildings and structures. If you want to download more puzzles from the developer, you'll have to register the program. However, unlike some other jigsaw simulations we've seen, this one won't let you make custom puzzles using your own JPEG or GIF photos. Before you begin assembling puzzles, BigJig lets you choose the number and style of pieces and enable or disable borders. Once you get to the actual gameplay screen, you'll find tools for sorting and grouping pieces, zooming in, or changing the default background color. Hard-core jigsaw addicts might want a program with more built-in templates and a tool for building custom puzzles, but occasional dabblers are sure to find BigJig more than suitable.

Easy to use, small download. I've had hours of fun using this game which I considered to be the best computer money I've ever spent. The puzzles are made from stunning photos and are frequently updated. Being able to change the number and shape of the photos makes for unlimited puzzle possibilities.

Features are easy to learn, there is a free weekly puzzle on lenagames. You can go from very easy to very difficult! I've been playing the earlier version for at least 2 years now. LOVE IT!

BigJig is a multifeatured jigsaw-puzzle game. Choose from eight shape styles: Classic, Modern, Curl, Artistic, Bony, Scrappy, Distorted, and Spriggy. Add a plain or shaped frame around the picture or play with the more difficult edgeless pieces. Make up a jigsaw in four pockets and two main windows. On the game site, you can find a new free jigsaw every week. The registered game includes more than 300 extra jigsaws and a jigsaw-making utility.

Version 8.07 updates the Spanish help and interface.
