The Bexlab File Validator is an easy to use tool to prepare and compare checksums. It requires no installation, so it also makes it ideal for an portable usage. Wide range of test methods: CRC-32, HAVAL-128, HAVAL-160, HAVAL-192, HAVAL-224, HAVAL-256, MD2, MD4, MD5, PANAMA, RIPEMD-128, RIPEMD-160, RIPEMD-256, RIPEMD-320, SAPPHIRE, SHA1, SHA2-256, SHA2-384, SHA2-512, SNEFRU-128, SNEFRU-256, SQUARE, TIGER, WHIRLPOOL, WHIRLPOOL1 Support of Drag & Drop: Besides the normal adding from the toolbar, the Bexlab File Validator supports also Drag & Drop. So you can easily put files and folders e.g. from the Windows Explorer to the list. Saving checksums: The calculated checksums can be stored as text, formatted text (CSV), XML, or in the program's own file format (BFVF). BFVF files are needed for the automatic validation. Manual checksum comparison: For quick comparison of individual checksums, the manual checksum comparison can be used. Checksums can be added manually or pasted via the clipboard. Automatic checksum comparison: To quickly compare multiple checksums, the automatic checksum comparison can be used. As comparison file can be used a BFVF file or a text file that contains checksums and filenames. Automatic verification (ideal for Data-CD's/DVD's): Files from directories or entire disks can be checked with only one click. For example you can use the automatic verification if you compile your customers or friends a CD. With one click they can make sure that all files are properly on the CD.
