• Great until it sends your e-mails a day late

  Maybe I screwed up, but I remember being pretty careful, so this is a warning to new users... watch out... It would be easier if you could switch the date out of US format.

  this is not a balanced review- this is a vent because I am annoyed with my first experience of this product, in the hope that others may manage to avoid it. (though I thought I was careful anyway) [expletive]

  Pros

  Simple, intuitive interface offers up limited capacity to surprise (a good thing). Low impact on gmail interface. Stays put until called.

  Cons

  Questionable value proposition ($5/month? really?) limits the potential market and casts a pall on the economic viability of this venture. Will this service still exist in 18 months? Dunno. I certainly hope so.

  Summary

  This feature should be baked into Gmail. That Googlers have 20% of their time free to doodle yet gmail still can't do this on it's own makes me think the employees committing time theft against their employer. This is one of those features you might go three months between using, but really comes in handy when you do. For instance, I'm responsible for organizing the snack schedule for my kids youth orchestra. I'm using Boomerang to send out a reminder the night before each weekly rehearsal to bring a snack that day (the violinists & cellists get grumpy when they can't munch on some pretzels between movements). However, it's hard for me to think of another situation where I, personally, would need something like this so paying $5/mo. seems a bit steep for the value I'm getting. Overall, if you have a specific need, you'll probably find it worthwhile. Otherwise, save your dough until you do.

  Pros

  if you use google chrome, then it is compatible. It's handy and you can help declutter / organize you inbox.

  Cons

  You need an invitation / code to use the product. You can only send one email at a time thru boomerang. I suggested to Baydin to develop an application to send emails more than one at a time. Sometimes it doesn't work.

  Summary

  Boomerang cannot send more than one email at a time.
