Batch-change the creation and/or modification date of files and folders.

BatchTouch provides an easy-to-use way to change the creation and/or modification date of multiple files and folders all at once. It offers enough flexibility to the user to choose which type of items to change, whether or not to process the contents of folders, and whether to change the creation date, the modification date, or both. Furthermore, it is possible to change just the time, just the date, or both. It is possible to apply both absolute values as well as offsets to both date and time. I.e. it is possible to add/subtract a specified number of days, hours, minutes or seconds to/from the creation and modification date of any item.

Great for changing the create date of files.

Pros
Easy to use, effective. This tool is perfect for mass updating create/modified dates and times for files. I am using it to update photos where the dates have gotten fouled over time.
Cons
Wish the date and time could be manually entered, as it is you have to use the pop-up calendar. Also, I wish it had a feature to increment the time (increase each file by one minute) when mass updating photos for example.
Summary
It has a simple design and I found it worked quickly and was intuitive to use. I am working to catalog thousands of photos and over time the create and modified dates have gotten all fouled up. I like it and recommend it for folks like me that are not familiar enough to use Automator or Terminal for such things.
