Barca is an integrated e-mail program, a personal-information manager, and a project planner. Aimed at the professional and small-business market, Barca provides a single interface to manage personal and business information, plan and schedule tasks and appointments, communicate with others, and collaborate on team projects. The e-mail capabilities of Barca have built-in Bayesian spam filters, protect users from viruses and spam, and are not susceptible to the virus vulnerability of Outlook and Outlook Express.

Barca is fast, easy to use, scriptable, and flexible. For administrators, moving Barca installation from one computer to another is as simple as copying the install directory, as Barca does not install any DLLs on the user's computer.

@technogeek3000: I'm only a fellow user and of course moderator. In no other way do I represent Poco Systems. I'm from Belgium (Dutch), so excuse me about the words I use in my posts or replies. I'm limited to the way I would like to express myself. <p> <p>As for the Palm sync, it's been abandoned. Not because PSI didn't want to continue, but because of the problems PalmOne is giving to developers by not releasing the API's. Not only does this apply to this Palm sync beta, but to Palm devices as well. :-/ <p> <p>I admit PSI should take down that page, since it's no longer planned on their agenda. We, moderators, provide as many help as we possibly can. <p>Official support has been improved a lot, since Tomas took over. :-) <p> <p>As for the software itself, it runs great here, although it does have some little bugs, but then again which software doesn't have bugs.

Barca web site claims Palm sync and has a download for it. There is no support for this feature, and Barca forum requests for assistance go unanswered. Based on the Barca site claim that the Palm sync feature works, I spent a several hours finding out that it doesn't work. <p>Take a good look around the Barca forum on the Poco web site before you buy this program. I am glad I did. <p>The attitude of Poco Systems is best seen in the CNET post by Eldarwyn which is Eric, a moderator at the Poco Forums. It begins with "Pity." Pity the fool who actually pays for Barca is more like it.

where do I start. easy to use, rich featured , everything is right there, no confusing sub-sub menu. <p>TABS!!! it creates tabs dependng on what u click so u can lets say go back to your adresses without closing your focus on certain email.planner is totally amazing. very intuitive , drag and plan features, color coded , i mean u got to try ourself..

not found. except its not free, but then again its worth the 50 something bucks.

Very nice interface and initially seems impressive, so I bought it.

As time goes by you realise there are more and more quirks and bugs. It's then you find out the supposed support from the software developer for registered users is non-existant. DON'T BUY IT - I really wish I hadn't!

It works very quickly and efficiently. I used Outlook before and will never go back. It is one of the most customizable programs available today and I think will over take outlook in the future.
