Used BamBoozle for Windows?
Editors’ Review
BamBoozle challenges users to match up the colored balls while navigating tubes. While initially confusing, this game quickly proves to be addictive to logic lovers.
The program's interface was our biggest hurdle, since the game itself provides no instruction. It took us a few minutes to find the Help file, which was buried in the Start menu and another few to read through the instructions, which focus more on scoring than how to actually play. Luckily, users only need their mouse to guide the different colored balls through a maze of tubes and spinners. The spinners are little cogs that hold four balls at a time. Spinning them allowed us to roll balls down other tubes to other cogs. We started having fun with the prospect of matching like-color balls in the same cog. It was a Tetris-like challenge of planning and organizing game pieces to successfully fill up the cogs and score points. As this was accomplished, the levels grew more complicated with additional tubes and cogs to navigate. We would have liked to see a feature such as a course designer, but still felt the game was strong enough to stand on its own without one.
BamBoozle is a freeware program. It left folders behind upon uninstall. We recommend this program because of its organizational challenges and ongoing complexity.
