The program turns your PC in to a smart rattle: your kid can press anything on the keyboard and move the mouse around without the risk to format the hard drive. The only way to exit BabyKeys is press a special key combination. The pictures and sounds are fun and instructive. We didn't manage to call the same image twice. However, some of them could be of a higher quality and resolution. We'd also make the inscriptions bigger. It is a pity that BabyKeys doesn't allow adding your images and sounds. The installation file doesn't work as good software should: you have to enter the directory yourself or else it creates folder in the disk root and not in the Program Files. BabyKeys is a simple yet efficient utility for all parents.

Summary
I have been looking for a program like this for my 1 year old niece who really likes to push buttons (TV, computer, etc.). She loves it, but I would really like to see an updated version with better graphics and sounds. This was made for Windows 3.1 and it shows. The program works great other than that.

Summary
A good baby basher program to satisfy a 15-18 month old who sees others using computers and wants to have a go too. Found that child wants you to watch her play with the program. Needs a disable function for the special windows launch keys now on most keyboards, however it seems to recover from those keys being bashed. Good that it includes mouse movements as well. Have configured the kids computer to boot up automatically into Babykeys at switch on. Running Win98se on Dell PII 266.

BabyKeys was designed for children six months to three years old. Children in this age grouping are attracted to colors, music, and your computer keyboard. BabyKeys satisfies this curiosity by responding to what your child does on the computer keyboard, mouse, or even joystick. When your child presses the buttons on one of these devices, BabyKeys responds with attractive graphics, pictures, music, and audio descriptions of the pictures displayed. This software does not contain spyware and before uploading to the Internet has been thoroughly scanned for viruses. This software was designed for children and will not modify the native behavior of your computer.
