Absolutely easy to use, with excellent results.
M. Pitts-Campbell- Pros
- That you have to have absolutely NO experience in photo enhancement or any of that sort of thing. Just pick the photos you want to merge and turn Autostitch loose. It picks the congruencies and merges quickly. I was using drone photos of a state recreation area to plan work for our Adopt-A-Park group and had no idea that easy-to-use photostitching software existed. I spent more time picking a program to use than I did using it. One result used two photos, the other, three.
- Cons
- I found it a bit awkward to select the photos to be stitched, couldn't select one out of a list and then another. I had to drag them to a separate folder so I could select them as a group.
- Summary
- I'm sure there are more professional-level programs out there, that I do not have the training to use, but Autostitch and its (paid for) additional abilities is certainly more than enough for those of us not in the artistic/photo world. I highly recommend it.
so simple and so good!
Alexm_81- Pros
- really unbelievably easy to use there are demo photos to play with first. There isn't a step through tutorial - there doesn't need to e one. Once you know there are demo photos it is so easy. Looks like there are lots of adjustable options for someone who understands panoramics but everything is also defaulted for ease. I haven't tried the options. Gave a fast brilliant result This is the demo version. Hasn't warned me of trial period/number of uses limit. Free and good = winner!
- Cons
- No "save as" function. This might be a bit more difficult for inexperienced computer users.
- Summary
- Great free product
Simple and easy
brian619- Pros
- Easy to use
- Cons
- Doesn't keep the same picture resolution when stitching
- Summary
- I found this program about a week before I updated my camera that has a panorama mode. Got to play with it for a few days and worked quite well. Didn't like the fact that it stitched high resolution pictures into something that probably isn't frameable.
Superbly simple

- As a novice to computers, even I can use it?
This software is FANTASTIC!
igorpark- Pros
- -Ability to stitch a large amount of photos with one button press -Shapes are recognized and replaced in photos rather than blended-ghost images reduced -Quick program and small in size -Self contained executable - no install -Control over filtering
- Cons
- You get no control over which points in the photo the program picks when stitching occurs. This doesn't much a problem, as the algorithm is pretty top notch.
- Summary
- I highly recommend trying this program. I have used photo-stitch in the past, which worked fairly well, but this program blow's it out of the water. Simply a better implemented image processing algorithm. The program is of a small size and allows you to control characteristics of the blending sequences the program undergoes. There is no control over which points in the photos chosen the program blends at (might be part of the algorithm), and no control over what the output is saved as (always 'pano'). These concerns, however, are very minimal based on the awesome functionality. PS. I've used this for some end-of-the-year College festivities, and even though a lot of the photos had many people moving about and such, the program handled the stitching very well. Kudos to the developer.
