Automatic Back-Up 2 Local is a powerful and simple-to-use utility that automatically backs-up your files and, optionally, locks (encrypts) your backups. It can also be used as a standalone encryption/decryption utility to encrypt/decrypt any single file or entire directory of files. Perfect for USB flash drives, external hard drives, or to shared directories on a Windows LAN. During unencrypted backups, Automatic BackUp 2 Local only backs up files that are not already synced to save on system resources and backup time.

There are two ways to back-up files: (1) A mass backup (encrypted or unencrypted), (manual or scheduled) of an entire device, drive, or directory in the background (and optionally, only the selected file extensions), and (2) Automatic filesystem monitoring and backups that instantly backs up changed or added files within the selected device, drive, or directory (and optionally, only the selected file extensions within that device, drive, or directory (encrypted or unencrypted) in the background.

I've found via Google about this software: www.ab2l.com AB2L Computer Services It used to stand for Automatic Backup 2 Local, but that program has been discontinued.

Pros
Does what it says without hitches. It's fast and 100% thorough in backing up folders and all their subfolders. Because of the review above, I uninstalled it and restarted my computer and it seemed to uninstall fine.

Summary
It's basically a single profile backup/encryption utility with a basic one window user interface. But it's simple, fast, free. And it has a neat little encryption/decryption utility that I haven't seen in any free backup software. So I would say, very useful product.

Summary
used other free backup software that has "accidently" erased directories. So I tested it and everything seemed to work. And so far nothing has messed up. The file encryption is neat and fast too.
Not what I was looking for. and Uninstall doesn't work.

It's cheap. It's fast. It encrypts my files. It has scheduled backups. It monitors a selected folder for changes automatically backing up changed or added files. It can backup selected file extensions. It works across my windows shared network.
