• Small simple - but does plenty

  Pros

  This tuner is small on size, but extremely useful. Free. Very easy interface. Many instrument choices, auto-note select, and more.

  Cons

  None whatsoever!

  Summary

  You can tune multiple instruments. It provides the easy access option to provide a tone to tune to and automatically distinguish the note you are trying to tune. One of the best functions is the pitch analysis that provides a visual description of where you note is. Further, Audio Tuner allows you to choose a higher resolution of pitch analysis that can be used for fine tuning.

  Choice of instruments Choice of notes Uses computer microphone Clearly tells you how far off you are, and in what direction (high or low) Can play the note for you, or listen to you and give you feedback

  Cons

  Limited choice of instruments (no brass) Says "too high" or "too low" instead of "sharp" or "flat" Doesn't show what an acceptable tolerance should be

  Summary

  I like it because it's free, and it helps me tune my instrument.

  Way too much information in the graphic interface.

  Summary

  If you can't get AP Tuner to run then this will get you through. Any port in a storm.
