  If you only want to listen a radio station it may work for you, however there are a ton of programs out that put it to shame in that aspect like Winamp, Real Player or even Media Player. As a recorder its the worst I have ever seen and shows how amateurish its creators are. Everything recorded with this pile of junkware get a heavy dose of distortion. I only wish i could give it a minus 3 stars.....

  Records WAV format which others won't... Very simple design which I find a plus you don't need stupid over the top options for this just good quality and easy to use!

  Cons

  No metering!!! And you have to pay $15 US for it...

  Summary

  If it had metering I would say it's worth it 100% to buy... but because of this I don't think I would buy it!!

  Was able to record a streaming Real Audio track onto my hard drive in MP3 format! Can't complain...a great piece of software.

  This was the most frustrating piece of software I've tried to use in a very long time. It worked one time, then every other time all I got was silence. After trying about 100 combinations of programs, order of functions, recording methods, I just gave up.

  I just made the mistake of buying this program without thoroughly trying it advance. The resulting mp3 files are distorted and overmodulated and don't come close to the quality of the original audio. I have previously used Total Recorder which creates perfect audio files, so the problem doesn't lie within my system. The console does not give you the option to adjust the recording level manually. Tech Support answered my e-mail with a comment such as: "Well, it's your own fault if you bought it without trying itfirst." They also tried to blame the problem on my sound card, which is nonsense, because I never had any such problem with any other software. Stay away from this one.
