This simple audio-conversion utility takes care of its main job just fine, though some may find the trial version less than generous. Audio Converter All-in-one's interface is simple to use, but the best part about the design is the fact that users can reconfigure the color scheme according to their wishes. The application accepts a wide variety of audio codecs, from common types such as MP3 and WMA to lesser-used ones such as VOX and RAW. However, the program only outputs tracks in the MP3, OGG, WAV, or WMA formats. As you might expect, Audio Converter All-in-one allows you to choose the bit rate of your new files and employs the VBR compression scheme for certain codecs, but the utility lacks features not related to its main job. Conversion speeds seemed fast enough, but we did notice a curious performance quirk: when we changed the destination directory to something easier to remember, the program still placed converted files in the default folder. We also must complain that the demo only lets you convert 10 tracks, a limitation we find rather stingy. Still, folks who work with a variety of audio formats might put this app on their to-test lists.
