• Definitely Not the best protection.

  Pros

  Easy to use for one without having any knowledge in Reverse Engineering. Less chance of being detected by antivirus as a false-positive.

  Cons

  Easy to crack. Not difficult to remove the exterior protection. AsProtect is used as the first exercise in the field of RE (in unpacking). Other Protectors such as VMProtect, Themida, Armadillo are better but not immune. The best protection by far is shipping a demo version which does not have all the features coded. So nothing to crack.

  Summary

  I am a reverser engineer myself, and this is my personal opinion. Search on the internet for asprotect unpackers and you will find why I am telling this.

  I like it as it do nothing

  I built a exe file and try to use this software to protect it as a trial, but I was really disappointed with it. You have to move the mouse non-stop when the software is running, otherwise the process will not continue; but the thing I am extremely not satitified with is that, when I tried to use the option of "registration code", my PC immediately stopped after I spent tens of minutes waiting for the process to continue!

  Pros

  Probably this is the best protection software. With simple, easy to understand interface and powerful protection module you're able to create trial versions of your software. This product compress and protect your application. $100 is not so much for this product. I highly recommend it.
