Toolbar add-ons are a dime a dozen nowadays, so the bar is high if you want your toolbar to stand out above the rest. Unfortunately, ArtRev.com Toolbar doesn't even come close, especially since most of its features don't work.

The humdrum interface spreads a string of buttons across your Internet Explorer window. All the usual features are there--pop-up blocker, highlighter, and a zoom button--and they all performed well during testing. I wish we could say the same thing for the rest of this toolbar's features. The empty recycle bin, clear history, and clear cache features failed to work, with the latter freezing our computer. A password-protected parental control feature is offered, but when we activated it, IE instantly shut down. Oh, and as if it couldn't get any worse, there are no customization options.

It doesn't look good or work well, and though it may be free, the ArtRev.com Toolbar is an add-on you can do without.
