• Addictive RTS Action - Build an Empire, Engage in Epic Battles - FIVE STARS!!

  Pros

  At first glance, the layout of Artifact 2 looks fairly simple - deceptively simple. There are a variety of management skills to learn as you go, and thankfully there is excellent realtime support available via chat interface with designated staff. As the game features a persistent-world environment, it is possible to spend as much or as little time checking and maintaining one's progress as one chooses. This factor probably contributes to its HIGHLY addictive qualities. RTS lovers will already be familiar with a number of concepts in the game (nurturing a population, building units, maintaining a military, conquest, etc), <p>but the appeal of this game reaches far beyond genre....Artifact also boasts a friendly and welcoming community which is about as diverse as any you are likely to find in any other online game. Free access level is a huge plus, and offers an opportunity to "get it all down" to some degree before making the decision to get a paid level (in addition, all levels of access, save one, are permanent - another bonus, in my books). A rather small download and a lot of complexity makes for an entertaining game with +++++++ replay value. If you even read half of this, give it a shot, you won't be sorry :)

  Its very addicting, there is always something to do, scout for artifacts/enemies, attack enemies, plan attacks, defend<p>Has a tight knit player community

  Cons

  The only thing that is a negative is the learning curve is kinda steep in order to get real good at the game, but learning the game for me was rather enjoyable.<p>Also you can play for free, but by paying 19 bucks you can get more enjoyment out of the game and have more play time

  Pros

  If you seek a multiplayer strategy game whose actions occur in realtime, offers challenging and thoughtful game play, is totally free to try (and rather affordable, if you choose to buy), and is easy to get up and running, then Artifact might be the game for you. I found it to be a fun, challenging, and quirky game which becomes highly addictive in a short time of playing. A diverse and international community keeps the social aspect of the game interesting, as well. In short, it's free to try, so there's no good reason not to, especially if you enjoy a game with a bit to learn right off the bat. Thanks, Samu Games - on the whole, a great offering. four stars!

  Cons

  I empathize with the writer of a previous review I read, on a few points. As I mentioned in "pros", this is a very complex game when starting out, and a helping hand when starting out is, well, helpful....There are designated trainer players in the game to provide this, but they are sometimes hard to come by, save a few. This isn't a huge point of detraction from the game, just something to work on, perhaps. <p>The game does have a few bugs here and there, but nothing that constantly intrudes. This game also features a fairly steep learning curve, which is not in itself a Con, but I offer it in this portion also as a caution to the uninitiated.

  Pros

  I have been playing Artifact since early-mid 1999 and can't seem to stay away. I've "retired" so many time due to personal difficulties in RL swearing to never return, 6 months to a year later and it pulls me back in. It's very addictive, very competitive and very worth every penny I've spent over the years. I buy FA (Full Access) which allows 24 hour gameplay, but only lasts 3-12 months. My next upgrade is for Citizen so I can stay for life :-D

  Cons

  There are a few players that ruin the game because they are either sore losers or very annoying in #Help and #Global chat channels. Some even fit into both catergories. If it wasn't for them it would be a perfect game to play. There was a lot of bugs in the game, but the owner (DavidRM) has fixed most of them and is currently working on the rest.

  Pros

  Exciting gameplay in an online community with none of the frills, ads, etc encountered in other places. Loads of players have been playing since the game started, which adds a hefty goal to reach - overall enjoyable.

  Cons

  There are many administrators in the game. A large majority of them remnants of past years and largely inactive - and therefore redundant in most respects. A few of the trainers were helpful, particularly - Insban, Ziggystud, Knight Killer, White Knights, Dreamin Spirit, and Royal Assassain. Aside from those few, the others have been cold, heartless, and unhelpful in there training abilities. My only con would be better organization of admins and Trainers in game. Graphics arent that great, but...as I said in pros...thats a good thing. Not a bad thing.

  Lol, where to start? <p>For a less than 20 mb game its amazing, <p>New players can easily get help from experienced players, <p>You can meet and contact players across the globe, <p>The game refreshes while u watch it carefully, <p>Every decicion you take has a certain impact on your city and population, <p>You can start out in peace and learn the game, <p>I love RTS so I definately enjoyed it, <p>I recommend you to play this game, <p>Bcuz of all above... <p>Since im running out of words...... <p>I'll leave it with this..

  No customer service. no body can you contact when hateful players cheat you. Sirzak, Terry Chandler and other idiots make this game impossible to enjoy. IF YOU BUY , YOU WILL REGRET.

  Pros

  The best thing about this game is that its fairly easy to uninstall.

  Cons

  I do not like the way I was treated& and the graphics are from Atari. This game was a huge waste of time. My advice to everybody is DONT BOTHER. 2 Thumbs down!!!
