Emulate the sound of a South American charango.
Armadillo - Virtual Charango is a virtual instrument based on the charango, a small ukulele-like stringed instrument from South America, created in the times when these lands were colonies of European kingdoms. The charango has a very distinctive voice and playing style. With this software you will be able to easily play melodies, arpeggios and fast strums so typical of the original instrument, without having to learn the chord positions, fingerings or specific techniques. You just enter the chord you want to play (using a keyboard controller) and then perform strums using specific keys, or pick each of the five virtual strings to get arpeggios. And with the use of MIDI controller messages you can get a better control of every aspect of the virtual instrument. Included is a sample set called "Armadillo STD". This sample set includes multiple recordings of every sampled note, in order to avoid the "machine gun" effect and give more realism to the emulation.
