This program crashed virtually every time I used it. Repeated attempts to contact tech support went unanswered, and I *was* a paying customer. Search for the blog "Hoodathunk" over at Blogspot and you'll see the details.

Pros
When it works properly, it has some very nice features -- ones you won't find elsewhere.
Cons
When it doesn't work, or if you otherwise need help, forget about it! Your e-mails WILL go unanswered.

It's got a lot of promise

Pros
Those webmasters who are familiar with Frontpage will welcome a little more WYSIWYG editing that this Blog Editor allows.

Its worth a try. It is honest shareware.
Cons
The importing of previous posts is hit and miss. Sometimes it seems to work well and other times, not.

Cost is quite high for a program that is no more than a word processor with graphic abilities.

Simplicity and speed being a main reason for blogging as opposed to static web sites will turn some off on this program. Learning curve is a little higher than BlogJet which seems to do the job well, however BlogJet does not have the graphic editing capabilities.

The biggest problem with most of these programs is that your host will probably provide the normal blogger with all the tools they need.

This program gives a little extra but at a much higher price.

Perhaps with a little more tweaking, a lower price and more documentation, the program will fly.

Pros
When you do figure out how to use this software (without instructions or support -- even for the PAID version), it does manage to collect email addresses.
Cons
This software is not for a novice or even someone who considers themselves an intermediate software user. It's not intuitive so it's difficult to figure out how to use it yourself (I found it impossible) and there are absolutely no instructions.

And forget about support from the company. You won't get an email response even AFTER you pay for the software (paid users are supposed to be entitled to at least email support according to Anconia. Forget it--it never comes.)

I have tried for months to figure out this software on my own. I did manage to get it to capture emails, but only for one list. Then I couldn't figure out how to manage the sit. I finally gave up and have switched to something else.

Maybe more advanced users will find this software helpful. Less experienced users will be throwing away their money.
