This application can instantly pull embedded media files from sites, but some popular sites foil its attempts. Amazing Media Browser's icon rests on the status bar and opens up a basic UI via Firefox, Mozilla, SeaMonkey, or Flock browsers. Simply type in a Web address and the application quickly extracts the media links embedded on the site. Impressively, anything from pop-ups to music files and videos will be listed for you to preview or save to your own favorites list for later use. The application also has local browsing to find and add files already on your PC to your list on Amazing Media Browser. We were able to grab several pop-up links to save and play later, but music and video files were a different story. Files from quite a few places including YouTube and Imeem played successfully during the preview but were shown as unavailable when we attempted to retrieve them after saving to the favorites list. After registering your user name and e-mail address, you'll also gain access to a community list of media file links posted by other members, but unfortunately many were duds. Though you can't use it with every site's files, you'll still like this free program's fervor.

Pros
Have you ever wanted to grab a .SWF or .Mp3 from a site? The first time I downloaded a SWF game, I was giddy. Why did I ever use IE, when there are extensions like this for Firefox. There may be a couple of things you cannot get, but if you post to the designers forum, maybe you'll see it in an update.
Cons
There is a Community feature, where people can post what they grabbed. if you like porn, you can use it. I would like to see a filter of some kind for this, and a requirement to name the file. (yeah, that will get jeers.)
Search for embedded objects in a Web site and view the list of source links.
Amazing Media Browser automatically searches for all embed objects in a website and shows you a list of the source links. You can then conveniently browse through each link to see the content of the source file. These usually are a Flash movie, a Window Media movie, or a MP3 file link. It can grasp pretty much all the file extensions that can be opened with Flash Player, Shockwave Player, QuickTime Player, Real Player, or Window Media Player. It even comes with a favorite links feature that lets you store unlimited links for later use.
