You can connect to and query a relational database, generate an XML Schema from a DB, import and export data based on DB schemas, generate DBs from XML Schemas, and edit relational or XML data. I didn't like anything about this product, it's too overloaded and a waste of developer time.
Cons
too many useless features and propietary xml engine makes it non standard, registry is loaded with their software even after uninstall

there are many other better xml editors than this one that are much cheaper, easier to use, and even free.
One of the must have tools for any developer!

Pros
Everything I need to work with my xml documents is in this one tool! I don't even have to leave my .Net environment since they also provide a free plug-in! This tool saved me a lot of time and I was able to generate much needed documentation to show my manager!

XMLSpy is the de facto XML development environment for professionals, so if you are designing payware products on a team or independently, you're probably already using it. For those wanting to learn more about XML and those developing freeware solutions, you'll probably want to pass.
