Does not work under Windows Server 2003

It would be perfect if it worked.
Cons
Too many problems under Windows Server 2003. E.g., if you login with Remote Desktop, then logout, then login again, Altaro will crash.
Summary
This would be the perfect backup program for Windows Server 2003 if it worked reliably. I try every new version that comes out, but the same problems always remain.
Look no further for exceptional backup, and support!!!

Pros
I have installed 15 backup programs over the last 60 days. I am very particular as I need reliability and versioning for my files. Altaro is the only product that gave me comfort, plus so much more. I am more satisfied than I could have imagined.

Summary
Communication and service is most important to me when I do business. As a CPA, I try to do my best for my clients, and I look for comparable service when I conduct business with others. Altaro subscribes to that work ethic. I was in the midst of a project in the middle of the night and sent an email to Altaro at 4:00 a.m. on a Saturday. I had a detailed response within two hours. I was flabbergasted and wonderfully surprised. I truly expected to wait until Monday. Service is just part of their package. The other amazing part of their business is their backup software. It is by far the fastest package I used. I backed-up over 200 GBs in less than two hours. The process was flawless. Other packages froze during a process that often took more than 15 hours. The icing on the cake is their "Dashboard," which is most impressive and provides information I never knew I wanted to see. It opened my eyes to the vast differences among backup software providers. Companies with large marketing budgets may get your attention, but I have been fortunate enough to find this pearl through my dogged search to find the best package I can without compromising service, features, and pricing. Altaro has beautifully designed this product to provide the best user experience with the satisfaction of knowing your important files are backed-up in case you ever need to recall them. I'm sold, and that's not easy to do.

- quick backup - easy to access backed up files - 'time machine' feature is great, haven't seen that done well anywhere else besides by apple
Cons
- Not suitable for more than 50 users
Summary
Great personal backup, does everything you need with very handy 'time machine' browser to check out different versions of a file...Good for professionals and small businesses, not good for larger businesses.
Terrific product. Close to Apples Time Machine for a PC

Pros
Works in the background. Keeps the computer backed up. OUTSTANDING support from the developer.
Cons
Something happened to stop the process. It took several tries with the support team to get it working, but he did not stop and he got it going again. Reminded me of the OLD OLD GREAT Support that WordPerfect used to provide some 20 years ago.
Summary
I hope I never have to find out how good the backup is, but I feel so much more secure knowing it's there.
