• Does not work with Windows 7 (Professional)

  Pros

  Great little niche program which I used for many years when I was using Windows XP. Well worth the measly 10 bucks for all of the Win XP taskbar hassles it overcame and eliminated.

  However I must warn Windows 7 potential users of AllToTray prior to downloading and installing AllToTray 4.6.3:

  Summary

  Warning! (1) This program installs all right but does not (repeat NOT) function correctly if you're using Windows 7. I tried installing it on my new Windows 7 professional machine repeatedly and got nothing but a troublesome error message and the program simply shut down. After numerous tried I uninstalled it. (2) DNTSoft, the developer's primary website is entirely in the Russian language and they do not appear to offer any support whatsoever. In fact the program AllToTray is not even listed of their website. If you are using these operating systems: Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/NT you should have no troubles but forget about even downloading it if you are using Windows 7 professional.

  The program is O.K. but the company will not send you a registration key at the end of the trial period and will not answer emails. Check out a program called "Icon Corral".

• How Did I Ever Live Without This?

  Pros

  Here's one of those wonderful utilities that once discovered, you just can't live without! It does exactly what it says, couldn't be easier to use and appears to have virtually no impact on system resources whatsoever. Worth every penny of the $10 registration fee!

  This is so convenient to use with MusicMatch. Just minimize it to the sytem tray and free up alot of space on the taskbar. I will be purchasing this after the trial is up. I recommend this for anyone who has a cluttered taskbar. It's also a small file so it doesn't take up alot of space in your computer.

  Summary

  The majority of Windows-based programs unfortunately take up space in the taskbar. With this nifty program, you have the option to let them reside in the system tray (near the clock) while they are running. Highly recommended.
