• Will not work on password protected PDFs

  Pros

  I created a restricted PDF (can open it but cannot print or edit) with an 11 character password and it did remove the protection from the document. The trial version is limited to one page so that is all I could test. So I will give it 1/2 a star.

  Cons

  It will not remove passwords from PDF files that are protected from opening. Again I created a password protected PDF. The software simply tells you that the PDF is locked and asks you for the password. Pretty pointless.

  Summary

  Unless you have a restricted PDF (you an open it but not edit or print), this software is worthless. It cannot access a PDF that has been protected from opening with a password.

  Pros

  There is nothing to recommend this "free" product. It is a thin shill to get you to purchase it.

  Cons

  "Try" mode didn't actually work for me. I downloaded and used as specified, but when I clicked "Start", it popped up trying to get me to buy it and didn't even unlock the first page. Horribly restricted demo that makes it impossible to find out if it works without buying it.

  Summary

  There are better free alternative. Keep looking!
