Used MG-Shadow computer monitoring for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This program can secretly record computer activities or announce to the user at login that activity is being monitored. MG-Shadow opens to a very professional interface. One click starts or stops the monitoring with the default settings, which includes running in stealth mode, launching as the system starts, and logging all keystrokes except those like Caps Lock and Num Lock.
Screenshot captures and e-mail notification options are easy to set up. You can quickly set the application to notify users that they are being monitored at login or select program start. A calendar makes it a snap to quickly find log information for a specific date. The left menu provides easy access to the current session's data for Windows, Keystrokes, Internet Explorer, and other areas. AIM and ICQ instant messengers are the only pair covered by this app.
MG-Shadow's spotty coverage doesn't cover Firefox, other browsers, and many popular instant messengers. Screenshots help, but they're not the best solution. A nag screen appears every 20 minutes, blocking testing the demo for stealth monitoring. Despite the lack of coverage for some apps, this monitoring program was easy to set up and use. It's suitable for novices or advanced users.
