Agon NetBoard 2 (Fanorona)

Agon Netboard riffs on the ancient game Go with a new game featuring well-drawn graphics, a clear user interface, and an excellent computer opponent. The player moves white or black stones from point to point in an effort to capture opponent stones. Game rules are few and easy to understand, but game play is complex enough to warrant multiple plays. This download allows only the computer opponent while registration allows online play against human opponents. Background music and random spoken wit from the computer opponent adds to the game atmosphere, but can be disabled. Mouse movement of the stones lags on some slower computers. Game players who favor Go, Chess, and other strategy games will find Netboard a pleasant diversion.
