This screensaver takes you on safari from the safety and comfort of your own desk. The African Wildlife Screensaver cycles through high-quality images of some of that continent's native animals, including monkeys, elephants, giraffes, jackals, and zebras. When displaying photos of lesser-known beasts, such as the bat-eared fox, the program also offers an informational caption. This screensaver allows you to change the background color and set the image interval, though the trial version disables the soundtrack. Even though the African Wildlife Screensaver comes with a number of cool transition effects, you won't find a list for configuring them yourself. The three-day trial may initially seem a bit stingy, but it's still better than the adware many screensavers foist upon you. Nature lovers of all types will enjoy this addition to their desktop.
