driver for the CardBus SCSI card

This is the initial beta of the PowerDomain SlimSCSI 1480 driver for Mac OS X 10.1.3. This beta driver will only function on PowerBooks with built-in 1394 ports. This file is in BinHex format; use Stuffit Expander to decode it if it does not happen automatically. After the file has been decoded double-click on the disc image to mount it, then read the enclosed ReadMe file before installing. To install double click on the installer and follow the on screen instructions. This driver has been tested only with Mac OS X 10.1.3. Do not try to use it with earlier releases of Mac OS X.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This driver for Adaptec 1480 SCSI pcmcia card and Titanium 867 DVI work on Jaguar but not on Panther. Now with Tiger (10.4.3) it is OK - BUT the pkg downloaded (here or at Adaptec) is unusable - decompress give an empty folder. The Solutions is to copy .kext from a copy of the previous OS 10.2 install to the /System/Library/Extensions/ and changing mode to root (chown) and rights to drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel and now with VueScan and SCSI Dimage Scan Speed F-2800 I am able to scan 35mm slides without rebbooting in 10.2...
