HID Global's ActivID Token provides proven, strong authentication for remote employees accessing corporate IT systems and consumers logging on to online services, without the need to distribute hardware tokens. A user wishing to access a protected resource, such as a VPN or internet banking site, uses the ActivID Token app to generate a One Time Password. The app can be PIN protected. The ActivID Token is part of a broad portfolio of hardware and software based One Time Password tokens from HID Global. The ActivID Token works with the HID ActivID Appliance, 4TRESS AAA Server for Remote Access 6.7.2 and above and 4TRESS Authentication Server 7.0.3 and above.
