  Does one thing well; improves Internet connection. Other utilities can do a slightly better job (optimal RWin), but if you just want much better speed and you are not a speed freak, this will work fine. Almost doubled my cable connection speed, but it was very slow to begin with.

  I installed AccelTec on a 4-yr old computer running windows 98SE and removed it the next day. SpeedTec actually improved my connection speed after removing it, yet slowed the connection speed drastically while installed.
