A Project Tracker (APT) works like a cross between a textual version of a Mind Map program ; a document editor; a tool to access existing work, and a progress monitor with quality controls. It is a generic tool that can help simplify the process of thinking through and tracking the completion of any task by breaking it down into sets of smaller tasks in a tree structured editor. Individual APT Projects can be made for business projects , personal projects, help manuals, training procedures and any other subject you like. The more complicated the task, the more useful this tool is. For large systems the work can be split up into any number of individual Projects that can be linked together in what ever way best models the problem.
