  Pros

  Very easy to use. It renamed my images with sequential numbers in a second. I'm impressed.

  Only used it for 5 minutes so none yet.

  Summary

  I needed a program that could rename big batches of images with sequence numbers. This program did it and it was very easy to understand how one works with it.

  Pros

  Very quick way to rename your files. Shows preview before it does it. Allows for undo in the event you messed up!

  Cons

  It would be awesome if I could access it with a right click, but that's not much of a con.

  Summary

  I love this software, have been using it for many years, and have had it installed on all my computers since about the time I first found it.

  Fantastic , I had 270 songs that have names starting with Mohamed Mounir , and with this wonderful program I could replace Mohamed Mounir with nothing ( Remove it from the names of 270 files :) ) , WOW WOW WOW

  Summary

  I put episodes of a television series into the program and renamed them numerically but it does not keep the episodes in order. For example, what it labels as episode one is not correct and so on. Without an undo feature this deserves 1 star. This program causes more headaches than it solves.

  Pros

  Worked every time! Changed Names, Extensions & Various Combinations of both.

  Cons

  Needed to read the help file a little, but after that Smooth Sailing! (I have a problem with reading instructions. I don't do manuals @ Christmas either!.)

  Summary

  Bottom Line, I highly recommend & the price is right! btw-Running Win 7 Pro.

  Pros

  I've been using A.F.5 Rename for many years. It is so useful and flexible and helpful. One of my favorite utility programs!

  Cons

  It's a little confusing at first but worth the effort to figure it out. This program is actually very easy to use, once you understand it's methods.

  Summary

  It's amazing how you can tweak the configuration to do all kinds of nice renames with batches. I just installed it on Windows 7, hoping it would still work, and it does!

  Easy to use, got exactly what I wanted in less than 3 min!

  Nothing. This product is a great product.

  Summary

  I like this product's very simple approach and the option of saving a batch file for the renaming operation. It also has many more options than other similar software, but with out all the frills. All the tools you need with none of the fancy BS that just creates bugs and system crashes. Great little tool.

  Pros

  I could not find any pros since I did not install it after the warning from ZoneAlarm.

  Cons

  I don't like that it has code in it that allows it to quietly modify your system so it can then spy on you despite any protective means you may have installed.

  Summary

  I always thought CNET made sure the software they hosted was spy/virus/trojan free... this one got past them somehow!
