By comparing a structure in 3D with illustrated, pinned atlas or radiograph images, A.D.A.M. Interactive Anatomy? user gains a heightened learning experience. Our 3D models data are collected from the 'Visible Human Project', sponsored by the National Library of Medicine.

""Features: Learn from the inside out using exploded 3D models. Compare 3D images on-screen to A.D.A.M. Interactive Anatomy? (AIA) content. Rotation: Each model may be viewed from any angle by clicking a control panel to rotate it in various directions. Highlight: Each model is composed of structures that can be highlighted. The user will have access to a text list of these structures. For example, the structure list for the eye model will contain Iris, Lens, etc. When the user clicks on a structure in the list, the model will automatically rotate to a position which clearly shows the select structure in the center of the viewing window. Structure terminology is based on the current AIA nomenclature with the addition of new terms needed to reflect the detailed new 3D structures.""
