Nice piece of software

- To begin with the graphics are refreshing. I needed a program to wipe my micro sd from a phone I had to return. The method choices for the free version include the Fast Zero, Random Characters, and DOD 5220.22M. You can get the newer DOD version with an upgrade as well as Naval Standards and Peter Guttman methods. The install and wiping process were seamless. I first tried the DOD method which took about 40 minutes using a Dell9020 (8G RAM, dual processors with 3.4 G speed). The Fast Zero took about 14minutes. I am confident that my disk was wiped well.

WipeDisk erases physical and logical disks (complete harddisks or single partition) secure and fast.
WipeDisk overwrites the information sector-wise, from the first sector of the disk to the last one. This is particularly important for forensically correct deletion of data.
WipeDisk supports 14 different wipe methods, e.g. two US Navy standards, the standard of the US Department of Defence, US Airforce and the NATO.
