Virtual Stopwatch Pro is a feature packed clock program for Windows 9x, NT, 2000, or XP. It functions as a stopwatch, a timer, or a clock. Time events with up to 1/1000th of a second accuracy for up to 24000 days. Countdown to a specific date and time. Virtual Stopwatch supports a full featured time logging system.

Log accounts allow you to log time to separate projects. Log data can be edited, exported, and printed in reports. You can create alarms that beep, play a WAV file, run a program, and display a message. The graphic time readout is completely configurable and can be shown as an analog or digital display. Version 3.15 includes unspecified updates.

This program allows you to easily create a written log of the time spent on projects and then get totals of the time for each project or groups of projects. I use this program to track time I spend on projects that will be billed to clients. I quickly log in and out of projects as I work on them and know I have captured all the time for billing. When I finish a project I select that project in REPORT and then get a printed list of all the time entries for that project and a total time for that project. <p> <p>It is very easy to create new projects/tasks/some item to time -- just type a name in the handy box. Then you click on LOG IN. When you stop working on that project, just click LOG OUT. After you log out of a project --- as when you get interrupted to eat lunch--- and then want to log back in to that same project, the program allows a one-click method to just log back in to the last project. You can time multiple projects at the same time. <p> <p>I never have to write down when I start and stop working on a project and I can easily get a total of each project for billing. The KEY benefit of this program is that it is so quick and easy. <p> <p>VSP also grays out the LOG OUT button when you are not logged into a project -- a handy way to make sure you are actually logging your time. <p> <p>I have assigned opening Virtual Stopwatch Pro to a single key on the keyboard and although VSP has many different displays and fonts and colors, I like the small analog clock with a second hand. <p> <p>In summary, if you need to track time you spend on multiple projects and get a written report of times, totals and dates, and want to easily log in and out of your projects as you work on them until finished, I highly recommend this program. It works exactly the way I imagined a program like this would work -- only better.

Pros
Very easy to setup and use, can vary about any parameter you can think of, and have it do most any thing you would expect of a stopwatch or clock. Colors, sizes, leading zero suppression, format, evrerthing can be set by 'right clicking'.
Cons
Only thing I tried and couldn't do within 60 seconds (or yet) is have the clock yell at me when a time shows up on a count up clock. Could use that function at the moment.

I downloaded almost 12 different timer programs before I found Virtual Stopwatch Pro. It not only met my requirements by providing a full screen digital display, but exceeded my expectations with further assets like easy configuration and hotkey start and reset controls. The potential is endless and sure to meet any users needs. Top marks !
