Time Zones for PCs is a powerful new tool for people that make international phone calls or do business overseas. It is built around a comprehensive database of over 1500 cities and towns, in 252 individual time zones, across 240 countries. We have designed it to have 100% coverage of all the time zones in the world. The daylight saving rules for every country are built right into the database. You no longer have to guess whether somewhere is in daylight saving time or not. Time Zones for PCs knows, and always gives you times that are correctly adjusted for daylight saving. Both digital and analog clocks are supported.
Purchased this product in Nov 03. Payed the $19.95. Come Nov 04, got an e-mail from Time Zone telling me to upgrade and that my licence would be carried through to V3. On upgrading my lisence was nullified. E-mails to time zone have been ignored. Software stopped functioning. I've uninstalled it.
Good but spoiled by difficult to read displays

Summary
Good product let down by clever but difficult to read and unconfigurable time display. Since the whole point of the product is to display times, that was enough to rule it out for me.
The analog display is fairly readable (but not great). The digital display is poor (look at the screen shot).
Shame.

Nice product, deceptive pricing. After 7 days the trial period ends and you must register the product for $19.95. I wouldn't have minded if they had been more upfront about the costs.
This is a very great product and best of all, its free (almost)!!

A very good product. The best part of the program is that, when you click desktop mode, it (the clocks) become transparent! It looks excellent with your desktop (if you have win2000 or lower, also try ICANOID for desktop icons transparency). This is a really nifty product. Excellent database of cities and countries and very good graphically designed clocks. Uses little recourses. The best program of its kind!! Download it!!!
The only problem I found is that when you click minimize all, the clocks also minimize, I hope the developers correct this issue. The rest is excellent.
very good for the features i need, if it can display the date as well, it will be perfect...

This is exactly what I was looking for. You create little clocks which can reside on your desktop or float above your applications. The main program runs in the background, so you don't have an extra thing on your taskbar, and you won't accidentally close it. The only thing that's a bit annoying is watching the seconds tick by on four clocks all in sync! Lots of cities to choose, accounts for daylight savings time.
Very Bad...
