  Pros

  Works ok if you put on one device and never change devices or reinstall or upgrade operating systems.

  Cons

  Bad customer support- really no customer support(see above review) Buggy, even after many upgrades Trying to sync multiplies problems hugely Upgrading devices and trying to migrate data is a nightmare.

  Pros

  Older version worked well

  "New and improved" upgrade trashed my database, and customer support was.... not good.

  Summary

  Was using the older version (5 something) and it worked well. Windows desktop - Android phone. Started getting upgrade emails promising improved performance and enhancements free of charge, since I was a paying customer. As soon as I did... BAM! All 96 of my entries were instantly turned into gibberish characters and the database was screwed. Oh well, I'll just call Splash ID support, and they'll get me out of this mess. Except they offer *NO* phone support. It's Friday, and all they offer paying customers is an option to email your problem in. (With a detailed description of your problem of course.) Since there was no way I was getting help anytime soon, and it would be at LEAST monday before they could get back to me, I tried fixing the problem myself. This turned out to be a big mistake, as I was later to find out, every time you access the program, it copies your present database to a backup file. (.vID) The problem, is that it only saves 4 backup files at a time, then begins over-writing. So, when I re-started the program a few times trying to get the thing working, any trace of a prior, working database was overwritten with corrupted files. THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED, HAD SPLASH ID OFFERED PHONE SUPPORT. So.... that began a period over a few weeks where I was forced to exchange seemingly endless emails with a support person, as I was told to try this, and to try that. All a HUGE waste of time. What REALLY irked me is that even though support had rated my incident priority as "high", they WOULD NOT consent to phone contact as I repeatedly suggested. In the end, I was left with a wrecked database, and no solutions. They DID refund my original purchase price. Like I told them: With upgrades like what was provided and the subsequent lack of support I received, who needs viruses?

  Pros

  A lot of flexibility in identifying your information along with specialized entry formats for the different types like bank accounts vs credit cards vs web sites, etc.Synchs desktops & mobile phones & Windoes 7.

  Cons

  I'm synching a primary & backup desk top (running Windows 7 and Windows XP respectively) with a Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G and I haven't found a problem yet.

  Summary

  The best manager of its type including the one I have been using on my dessktops since I had to leave Palm behind.

  Difficulty in initial installation and in configuraiton to multiple Windows PCs

  Summary

  Only syncs to a specific IP address which makes syncing to multiple PCs difficult. Assuming you can find out your PCs IP address that is. URL for the FAQ in the emailed receipt is to a broken link. I'm really spoiled I gues from using eWallet for my Palm Treo for the last few years. I really do not care to become a network wizard to have to get an application to work. Perhaps this is a limitation of the Windows/Android enviroment, however this can be accomodated by more explicit help. What is in the SplashID/Android FAQ has no relationship to what I sea when actually installing the app. All in all I'm very unhappy with this product.
