  NONE, I never got beyond the download

  Horrible... I downloaded the software and was flooded with malware. I spent 45 minutes using an advanced removal program to get rid of it all.

• Elegant and actionable requirements management software

  Pros

  This software is a huge surprise, when I downloaded it I never imagined I'd find a perfect match to my needs. The software's paradigm for recording requirements, organizing them, assignin attributes, customization, and export is a precise match to what I was looking for. The documentation is beyond the quality of anything out there, commercial or open source. The author of this program is very talented, he first and foremost understood the task at hand and built a program around that. He didn't try to boil the ocean nor did he make it too simplistic. The product is perfect for managing requirements for just about any industry because it is completely customizable.

  Cons

  You will receive a few warnings from Microsoft Access runtime about loading an application, etc. These are similar, but no different in meaning, than what you get when you download and run a program from the Internet. This is normal for applications like this written to Microsoft access runtime. There are a few oddities in the reporting format but nothing major; however, to workaround that, simply go to the Reports menu and output to a format you probably really want, I found Excel output works fantastic and is exactly what I need. All-in-all, these aren't con's as much as approaches to leveraging the software to meet your needs best.

  Summary

  Overall a fantastic well documented program to meet a need most companies have. It enables the structured and repeatable requirements process all companies need but not enough of them implement.

  Thoughtful and knowledgeable design. Stable. Helpful support. Willingness to listen to suggestions. Accessible database (if you are a database hound).

  Cons

  Didn't care for the limited reporting options in v2.5.

• Great Free Requirements Management Tool

  Pros

  This tool is for people who try and manage requirements with Excel but want to do more. Because this tool sits on a database, there is a lot more tracking and tracing features built in. And if you've got more than one person on your team doing requirements, then the database allows multiple users to simultaneously work together.

  Cons

  The software obviously doesn't have a virus in it as claimed by another reviewer. All software managed by CNET is thoroughly checked for viruses. Telling you otherwise is just a rather pathetic scare tactic.
