Portrait Professional improves portraits by making slight adjustments to different areas of the face. It can automatically detect and adjust faces in your photos, and you can tweak its adjustments to get just the look you want.

Pros

Automation: Portrait Professional does most of the work for you most of the time. If you want to automate the touch-up process, you can just add photos and let this app do the job. Of course, if you're not happy with the way the program alters your photos, you can make as many adjustments as you'd like using sliders for things like skin lighting, eyes, skin smoothing, and more. You can also set your own preferred values and then save them to apply them to multiple photos.

Facebook posting: Facebook posting is built into this software. And when you post your photos, you can decide whether you want to show both the before and after shots or just the polished product.

Cons

Overcorrections: Portrait Professional does make some features too perfect. While improving appearances is good, changing a face so much that it doesn't look like the same person anymore may not be what you're going for.

Bottom Line

Portrait Professional is a powerful and efficient way to improve the appearances of the faces in all of your photos. While it can sometimes overcorrect certain features, you always have the option to make as many adjustments as you'd like. You can try the software for free, but you can't save your projects, and there are watermarks on the edited images.

Easy to use. One can choose a great many options to improve a portrait.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
I intend to continue using it until I'm a pro. I photograph many old people and they are usually pleasantly surprised by their portraits.

Does what it's supposed to do and it does it very well
Cons
If you ever need to re-install, forget about re-licensing, their licensing plug-in is a lame joke at the expense of the customers. What good is to have a "de-activate my license" option if the "activate" option won't work in case of a hard drive failure / software re-install?. No response from them on this one after a month of e-mails. Absolutely disappointing

Definitely NOT recommend it to anyone due to the ridiculous re-licensing issue

Love the software--can make people look really good.
Cons
What good is it if you can't use it? "Fingerprint" issues constantly. Have to wait days for a new token then it continues to stop working. Their "fix" doesn't work. If I buy the software I want to use it. Simple request. Complete waste of time. Too bad nice software.
Summary
Will not recognize your computer after a week and then starts the long back and forth with tech support. Then you give up.
SO FAST!! and gives remarkable results within minutes!

Pros
I save hours touching up photos in Photoshop CS6 with trial and error versions.. I can see the changes and every step and have ultimate control.
Cons
Upgrades are about 1/2 the price but at least not too close together so it's not terribly expensive to Upgrade.
Summary
I will continue to use this as my favorite Portrait software for a very long time.

Pros
Works very well in a heartbeat. I even recieved an instant upgrade from version 11 to version 12 without asking. Recieved e-mail with confirmation and serial number in minutes of placing the order. It adjusted the first photo I put in it in about 8 seconds. It was so intuitive (if you are familiar with Photoshop or Lightroom, etc) that I made additional adjustments without even refering to the PDF manual which you should download after purchase, or downloading the trail version.
Cons
Support is spotty as mentioned many times in other posts. It may overdo things just a bit, but you can change the saved settings to what you prefer for all future automatic adjustments it does. See my Summary about the problem I seemed to have when ordering. It was my fault, not theirs.
Summary
Unlike some, I even recieved an e-mail with confirmation and serial number in minutes of placing the order. Oh, and since I live in the US and was ordering from England, I had to notify my bank card to allow a one-time purchase with details before the World-Pay System would approve my order. Duh, dumb me.

If you can get it working its good software.
Cons
Bought the software, had it installed until my system crashed. Oped a support ticket as you can't re-install the software. After a week nothing!! A 2nd support ticket, and another week, and still nothing, opening a 3rd and will be calling the company, seems they don't care about customer support after they get your money, they just send you new links to buy the same thing again.
Summary
do not buy if your computer crashes or you need to install you need to buy again and again, waste of money!!

Number one, it does a fantastic job of changing a photo just a tiny bit or going all out making someone's appearance just exactly like you want it. It is very easy to use and takes little time and effort. It was intuitive to me to figure out with hardly any need for formal instruction and is just plain fun to use.
Cons
I have not had any reason to complain about a thing.
Summary
This program really rocks! I would recommend it to anyone because of it's ease and wonderful results. I have had no problem with bazaar looking results as I read in one review and think possibly the points that you adjust at the very beginning of editing may not have been put exactly where they belong. My photos are never distorted, just fresher and clean. It is also fun to just play around with the many options that are available. I really do love this photo editing program. Thanks Portrait Professional!

Pros
Incredibly easy to use for the power it has. It turns a woman's portrait shot into a magazine cover quality shot with very little effort, but for those that need them, there are lots of specific tweaks you can do beyond the basic effect. Good for men's shots, too. Available for both PC and Mac and works the same on each. I use it on an HP Win 7 64-bit desktop and on a MacBook Air. I have been using since version 8 (now on v10) and would not be without it.
Cons
Some have complained about support. I can't comment since I have never needed any with this software. I have no complaints. Works better than I expected.
Summary
An easy to use tool for turning portrait shots into magazine quality photos with amazing effectiveness. Available for both Mac and PC and works the same on each system. Incredible value.

Summary
Purchased this program for my Autistic son, He's able to use it on family portraits and almost has us looking like celebrities with ease. Purchasing problem caused by Banking failure in UK was sorted by support team as quickly and efficiently as was possible using constraints of Anthropics support system. All round excellent support excellent and fantastic program with happy son using it.

The software has been shown hundreds of examples of beautiful photographs of human faces, and using sophisticated statistical techniques, it has learnt how to subtly enhance photographs to make them more beautiful.
