  Pros

  Has lots of options if you choose to do a deep dive into your editing, and has all the features needed for simple video compilation and editing as well. The built in video demos/tutorials are really helpful

  Cons

  Some of the more sophisticated features are difficult to use, and there are not as many short-keys available so that can be a hassle.

  Summary

  For PC users this is a great alternative if you don't have iMovie (Mac) and it does all of the things Windows Movie Maker does, but seems to have a broader platform if you want to learn more sophisticated functions. User interface appears to be more robust.

  Does a great job of capturing videos WHEN it works.

  Cons

  It is a crap-shoot to get good results. When running on one PC, in about 50% of the time the software craps out either during the recording or at the very end, creating a "crash-dump", rendering the entire recording useless. On another similar PC the creation of this crash-dump occurs at about 100% of the time. Both PCs are Core-2-duo, Win 7, 8 GB RAM, 200 to 500 GB free disk space. What more does this software need?

  If you only have one chance to record something, this is not the software to use.

  Overall a really great product! I used this for a school film project and it created a high quality, well edited video. Super impressed. Well worth the download!

  Pros

  - Easy to use. - It has tools that are very helpful. - Let you be creative. - Not difficult at all to syncronize the audio, videos and images. - Production of videos in short time.

  Cons

  - If you are starting with video productions you'll probably need some time to familiarize with some tool terms. - Not free :( and the trial version has some conditions

  I've been looking for a long time a software that can be easy to use but at the same time that has good options to produce a GOOD videos... Movavi Video Suite is! I'm not a super expert on videos but I need to do many good ones for volunteering activities that I promote (before and after them). It's easy to use all the tools since the first time you try it! And the same tools give you good ideas to start new good quality videos. Also the same software helps you to understand all the tools in order to use it in the more effective way. Definitely recommend it!

  so, I bought this to be able to edit videos, do the occasional screen capture, etc. seemed like a pretty good deal at the time. I've only had it about 2 months now, and the system tells me I need to UPDATE it. ok,. no issue. I go to do the update, and it wants me to pay $50 for it. eer...pardon? ok. so I contact customer care(less). I think they're out of pakistan or some STAN country, so I'm not surprised the experience went like this. so, call them. get nothing but automated messages for everything except the "take your money" line. so, all tech support and product support is through e-mail, or the online chat if you're lucky enough for them to actually be online. check the hours for online support out. it's crazy. so, we start talking. they're calling it an upgrade, yet the system calls it an update. hmm...ok. so we talk, I explain that most products don't charge for updates. they explain that it's not an update, it's an upgrade. so, they're basically trying to force you to buy a new program and calling it an update. so, I say well, I guess I won't be updating it as it works perfectly, no issues. next message I get....banned. so, for refusing to "update" my software, I have been banned from the customer care(less) service. because I didn't want to spend money....I wasn't rude, ignorant...make nasty comments. I merely asked why we had to re-purchase a product that I had only owned a couple of months, then refused to do so. so....banned.
