  Pros

  After 2 years WD have not solved problem about this horrible software. when I installed first time this package on 7 OS it compromise the suspend service. I can confirm it because all notebook of my office have had same problem, solved removing this package. Now I would try to install it Again, but It so difficult to change the Account of NAS. WD please still on Hardware production.

  1. Did not work. 2. Made my PC blue screen until i recovered it.

• My TB brick works fine as well as computers on my net

  Pros

  I can access my computers anywhere in US with no problem. Capabilities are limited to connection speed.

  Cons

  Takes a bit to connect. Patience is needed when hooking up.

  Summary

  If this program is loaded on all computers in your network and all logins are correct you will have a connection that is limited only by your connect speed.

  Pros

  It is supposed to connect to all your computers and the NAS device that I really wanted.

  Cons

  it dosn't connect reliability to the NAS device and doesn't connect at all to the other computers in my network. There is no 64Bit software available either. Online support is zero help and I have a 1TB brick that I purchased for big bucks.

  Summary

  This concept was suposed to give me access to my off computer storage for backups, primary storage for pictures and audio-video files. Actually they are there but I cannot connect realiably on my 1Gb network. You start to work and the MioNet window flashes and you are disconnected. Access via 64Bit vista is thru their network capabiility and with an upload speed of 384Kb it is usless. I would not recommend WD Mionet to anybody. Anybody got a challange for what I am saying. Come to my house and I will prove it -- Or purchase one for yourself and remember my words. I am trying to warn you.

  Cons

  Countless hours trying to get this to stay connected to my WD Storage drive. User forums, tech support, nothing is working. Time to remove this program and use the workaround to connect directly to the drive.

  Received as bundled sw when I bought a Philips webcam. Installed and when I try to run it it just opens a small blank window that disappears after a minute or two. Nothing more.

• Easy setup & useful software

  Pros

  Don?t need to bring my laptop home from work anymore. I can share my screen with colleagues when discussing a project over the phone rather than capturing screenshots or instructing them to follow along on their computer. My wife uses it to host a file where her family can upload/view pictures rather than uploading them to a mail server and getting hit with file size restrictions.

  For why the hell do you need a remote access to your webcam in home? If you'd like security then buy a security camera! This program is a piece of crap. First of all, when you install it, it will appear in your taskbar and you cannot get it away at any kind! Then, when you register at MioNet, you will get a milion of messages like "Your MioNet account will expire in 1 week" and one day later "Your MioNet account will expire in 6 days" and the same message 3 times a day. And when your trial actually expires you still get bugging emails like "Your trial has expired. Want to renew it?" and 3 days after expiration "Your trial has expired. You can renew it" etc. Not worth of download. Really ...

  Pros

  Lots of great functions. For remote desktop and remote drive mapping, this is an excellent tool when it works.

  Cons

  Mionet seems to always be having problems. Its a great idea but lately is totally unreliable. Especially today their website and software is completely non-functional. Apparently if their site goes down, so does the software!!! Another annoying thing is that it wont maintain my password asking me for it every single time I boot up.
