- I downloaded the trial version on our windows 98 computer successfully. However when I decided to 'buy' I received a link to download the full version. When I tried to install it, it came up with errors. I contacted the developer and they (eventually) said it was because I had windows 98. They advertise being able to work with windows 98, and I did not here back from them at all and was not offered a refund.

- This software will not only allow your kids to visit pre-approved websites but it will also manage the time and days of the week they can browse. If you are very concerned about your kids and computer safety, there are extra security options like not allowing the Internet Explorer run while KidsPlorer is running (this way you avoid backdoors). Additionally, you can prevent your kids from closing the program, browsing the desktop and even the windows explorer (everything that uses a window like control panel) just to mention a few. The cool thing about these integrated features is that, when you enter "parent" mode (with your password), you get full access to everything, including internet explorer, control panel & etc.. By the way, it also keeps logs of denied browsing attempts. Works fine with flash, java, active-x, frames and in-line frames. Very Cool, Easy To Understand and Use!

- Only thing I didn't like was the approved site list not closing automatically after you exit parental mode (even if it was closed before entering parental mode). Not that this is a problem because kids have access to it (as a guide). It just takes "viewing" space from a web page and can be manually closed. <p> <p>One suggestion: <p> <p>It would be cool to make an "Adult" version, so it can be installed in an office environment! The graphics are more "kids" related.
