  This Program has constantly crashed on all systems I have tried it on... Also all of the tech support and sales contact emails for the company and the parent company AGBO are bogus and fail to send and are returned to sender... There is a serious programming issue with this program and it will crash your computer! The Fault seems to lie in the DLL calls to eautil.dll ... Hope this helps elimnate hours of frustration and debugging as i have done ... 2 bad it looked like a nice program?

  I had to rewrite my resume almost from scratch so I started <p>to look for tools to help me. I chose a book (Monster careers) and was <p>considering EasyJob. After reading a very negative review in <p>Download.com, I was a bit worried, but something made me feel <p>that I shouldn't take such harsh review too seriously, so I <p>downloaded it. I'm glad I did so. <p> <p> <p>Using the book and EasyJob to create _really_ personalized resumes <p>(one for each potential employer), I got 10 great interviews and a <p>job in less than a month. IMHO, the key point was to really customize <p>the resumes for the employer (and EasyJob makes this rather simple) <p>writing at least a different profile for each. <p> <p> <p>I didn't have any issues with it, seems quite user-friendly, and what <p>matters (the end result: my resume) looked great. Surprisingly, <p>the feature that the previous reviewer criticised the most <p>(profile instead do objective) is what I liked the best and <p>I think it was key to my success. <p> <p> <p>The objective section, which is the first (and maybe the last) <p>thing an employer will read, states what YOU want to do. Get <p>real, no employer cares about what you want to do with your <p>career, they only care about what you can do for THEM. (Period) <p>And that's what the profile does. <p> <p> <p>Of course, you can create an objective with EasyJob, <p>however, the applications suggests you use a profile <p>instead and I second that.

  In order to see how your resume will look like, you have to enter all your career information. I guess it makes sense, after all, if you don't have any content, it can't make any resumes for you, but I wish there was a quicker way to see how your resume will look like.

  When I first tried to use it, the majority of the features appeared to be disabled, and clicking a button would bring up a link (with an ActiveX control, no less) saying that I would need to register to view examples, etc. I tried again, and the examples came up fine. When viewing different formats for the resume and cover letters, I received errors every single time, with the option to send an email to notify them. Upon closing the program, it opened approximately 40 browser windows, all pointing to the same troubleshooting section on their website (which did not apply to anything I was doing). <p> <p>In addition to the errors, the format used for building the resume is cluttered and looks extremely unprofessional. For example, instead of the usual "objective" it gives you the option to create a "profile", and suggests that you choose as many key phrases as possible. The result is a huge mess that sits right at the top of your resume, filled with fragmented sentences. Any employer who saw that would throw the resume out without a second glance. <p> <p>I'm stunned that they actually expect people to pay $40-50 for this horrible program.
