This program makes capturing screenshots of PC activities a hassle-free affair, although it has a few shortcomings. Easy Video Capture's main window isn't tough to comprehend, and we appreciate that basic recording functions can be performed via hot keys. Still, we wished the program could record clips in a format other than AVI. You can not only set audio and video quality, you also can decide what area of the screen you want to capture and then disable the cursor from appearing in your clip. The full version lets you annotate your clips with captions, although the trial version won't let you access that feature. If you're using an older computer, be forewarned that Easy Video Capture may take a toll on your PC's performance, though we had no problems when using a standard machine.
