  I signed up one day (and paid) and then tried to cancel the next day because I wasn't impressed by how much slower my downloading ability was. I tried to cancel my subscription on their website...and their contact form was not operational. There was no telephone number. I posted a note on their Facebook page that I wanted to cancel. It took 18 days for someone to respond to that post. Once I got a note from whomever on the Facebook page, he told me to write customer support, who told me I was not entitled to a refund because I didn't notify them. They admit that their website was down...but refuse to refund what I paid. I think that's pretty poor. They also said that while I said on the FB post that I wanted to cancel..I didn't explicitly say I wanted a refund. It all strikes me as a bit sketchy. Beware.before you sign up.

  some proxy IPs actually work

  probably 98% of the connections are invalid, time out, or in one case want a password (council bluff, ia school district) no manual entry option some say they are hiding you but they are NOT.

  Summary

  don't bother unless you have lots of time to hunt for a proxy that works. There is no manual entry option so you can't even enter and stick with one you found that is active.

  Easy install, simple user interface. So far everything is working just as advertised here on CNET.

  The only con I would say is that my internet speed is just a little bit slower. I did expect that to happen so its really not a con just an observation.

  Summary

  This is by far the best IP masking software I have used. I had a different one that I fought with every hour I tried to use it. That one was called Mask My IP. (terrible software to try to use, don't ever get that one)

  Listen...i know there are several IP masking programs out there that Im sure work well but I decided to take a chance on this one. I was hesitant to pay at first but Im so glad I went with this program. Its NEVER let me down and allows me to not only protect my identity while online, but allows me to visit ALL sites that are normally blocked because of my location/IP Address. Simply open the application, and chose the state (or country) that you want to be 'from' and thats it. Lots of servers to chose from in each location and no dropouts or failures to connect to date. Should also note how tiny the app is so no worries about Bloatware or not being able to Uninstall. Oh, and the price - nowadays, everyone wants 'free' so a measly $30/year will scare some potential buyers but listen - you know what to expect when you get something 'free'. This is well worth the price - OR you can pay $5 and try it out for a month. How can you go wrong?

  No cons whatsoever. Seriously...its never let me down so to write a con here is simply reaching. I had an issue with my Paypal once and I contacted Easy Hide IP and customer service was PROMPT, courteous and most importantly - it was a REAL person.....i wasnt transferred or on hold for a million hours. Nothing like dealing with a real person who replies quickly. Wait - these are more 'pros' arent they? lol

  Summary

  I don't care what else is out there - if it aint broke, dont try to fix it and this has served me well for about 5 years now. In fact, I only recently upgraded versions - ive been using the SAME version I downloaded almost 5 years ago and it was going strong. Hesitant to ruin a good thing, I upgraded and the newer version is evern more responsive and cleaner than before. Your app has never let me down and I intend to use it as long as you're in business!

  Pros

  A must-have. I've been a fan of EH-IP for 5 years, and only it keeps getting better with its new EH-VPN. Its fast, efficient and non-intrusive. It does exactly what its supposed to do. And its prompt customer support has always been able to sort me out when I've had problems with my ISP or router connectivity.

  I have tried many of these IP hiding programs and most are rubbish but this one works and works well. Its easy to set up and the support is second to none.
