  Did not find all files after a format occurred on the hard drive ...but a competitor's software did find the files - so they were available... No refund available for the software not performing as advertised. Link to their refund policy: http://www.easeus.com/sales-faq/refund-policy.html

  Summary

  Because of their refund policy not including a refund for this situation, I recommend to not purchase this software. Also, there is better software out there that does perform as advertised. Google " Data Rescue PC3". It performed as advertised, in less time, and costs $30 - EaseUS product cost $73!

  Make sure you read the Easeus refund policy before purchasing this product. I bought this to recover files that had corrupted on my memory card while recording on my video camera, and it did not work. You can only email customer service, you cannot speak to them, and when I asked them for my money back, they told me to refer to the refund policy instead of just saving me the time by telling me "NO." Their "Money Back Guarantee" is a scam. The terms of refund policy makes it impossible for you to get your money back; especially if you are dissatisfied. Do not use products from this company.

• Recover 5GB files! Good Tool

  Pros

  I formatted my D drive and I found it was a big mistake. Thanks to the program, I recovered all the lost files back, about 5GB.

  Cons

  You must be patient because it takes about 20 minutes to scan my computer.

  I was really afraid of losing my important files in my D drive. But the program get them back. It's a useful tool for me.

  Customer service is bogus. Is in denial about shopping cart working ok. Instead sends me to another site to fulfill order. For a "discounted rate" of 69.95 you get software that doesn't do what it says. I found another data recovery software for 49.95 that worked far better than EaseUS Data Recovery Pro!!

  Summary

  I had a very unpleasant experience and to top it off the product is expensive and doesn't do what it claims. I contacted EaseUS (Ted) about issues with the shopping cart and was told to try again using another one (Shareit). I frankly should had abandoned the purchase altogether. I received a $5 discount code offer from EaseUS.com for signing up for emails but they didn't honor it. Ted claims it doesn't apply towards discounted software even though it wasn't stated in the email nor the shopping cart! Switch and bait tactics. Very dismissive emails and said to use the coupon towards a future product purchase. Yeah right!

  Pros

  Worked exactly as promised. Worked slowly (as all the GOOD recovery programs do) but brought back everything. Over 400 images, AND about 75 .AVI videos. I could start it up, walk away and do other stuff, and come back to find all files recovered. Interface fairly straightforward & intuitive.

  Cons

  Only wish I'd bought it FIRST. (Tried "Adroit" the day before, which brought back 95% of the images, but NO video.)

  Summary

  My 16GB SD-RAM card got corrupted somehow, with hundreds of files onboard; mostly images, and a bunch of videos. As mentioned above, I bought "Adroit" (at $54 Cdn), only to discover AFTERwards that it only retrieved photos. No videos, no sound recordings. Very disappointing. Also, Adroit RENAMED all the images with it's proprietary "carve00XXX..." label format, which meant I would have had to RENAME all my retrieved files manually to the same format as all my other photos. AAARRGGHH! Went searching back for EaseUS. EaseUS cost a little more, but it brought back ALL the images, ALL the videos, AND the one sound recording file on the chip. AND, to my great relief, it brought them all back WITH THE ORIGINAL "IMG_0000.xxx" LABEL FORMAT of the standard photo file system. What a relief! Major time saver! Yes, EaseUS "Freeware" has this little "1 GB freebie", but it only allows 100 MB per day! So, even though I might've been able to pull back my data (about 480 MB total for the files I absolutely needed) over a span of FIVE DAYS, some of the video clips were over 100 MB and would NEVER have been downloadable via the freeware option. Fortunately, their LiveChat help furnished a promo code that offered a 30% discount to take some of the sting out of the price (remember, this was my SECOND data retrieval software purchase in 2 days), and I got it installed and all my trade show and family and travel pix were saved! No complaints whatever. My compliments to EaseUS's programmers.

  I tried VirtualLabs. What a joke. Stay away from that program unless you like giving money away. I took a chance and spent more money after trying EaseUS freeware. It found my data on a formatted SCSI drive and was able to recover all of it. I hope my review helps.

  It search and finds files in reformatted partition

  Cons

  Does not find everything. 1Gb limitation for free, but even this offered capacity is useless. In 90 percents the recovered folders are empty, the rest of date in 90 percents are corrupted and unusable.
