DisplayFusion installs an icon in your system tray that holds a menu for configuring a multimonitor setup for your system. The tabbed menus are well organized and clearly designed for ease of use and reading.

This application performed well in our tests, responding quickly to our commands. We liked that we could configure hot key combinations for a number of tasks, such as moving a window to the center of a monitor, resizing a window, or spanning a window across all monitors. Other favorites include the capability to customize how items are dragged from one screen to another and synchronizing wallpaper across multiple monitors. Editing options was a simple process, and accessing a variety of controls was a snap, including resetting all hot keys with one click. We also appreciated how the developers allowed for support in German and Spanish, as well as English.

Any user who works with multiple monitors should give this top-notch freeware a try.

What’s new in version 7.1

Version 7.1 improves Scripted Function downloader, now with function updates (highlighted in yellow in the list), adds more than 30 new scripted function helpers, Wallpaper images can now be moved up to 999,999 pixels, not limited to 10,000.

DisplayFusion Pro great! -- and website NOT dead!

I tried the trial version and after two weeks decided to purchase the Pro version. Their website is NOT dead. I have it running on my Dell Precision with FHD display (1920x1080) and two external monitors: a 4K (3840x2160) and a FHD (1920x1080) and it works great. I set up for each display to have a different background, that changes every 5 minutes. Each display can have the command icons along the bottom of the display. Left clicking the mouse can bring up the DisplayFusion settings window. All kinds of other features to be explored.

Pros
I only have the FREE version because the Display Fusion website appears to be dead. The free version offers a lot of functionality, but I really wanted to try the multi-screen taskbars. Since that's not possible, I'm utilizing a program called Dual Monitor Taskbar, which actually runs all three of my monitors, so it's an adequate substitute.
Cons
Their website is dead so you can't buy the PRO VERSION. I like the free version enough that I would've purchased it if possible...
Summary
You get a fair amount of functionality out of the free version. It's too bad they gave up on the PRO VERSION.

Pros
I run three monitors. The features I love are: 1. being able to have different wall paper on each monitor 2. A screensaver that runs different pictures from my photo directory on all three monitors with each showing a different picture. 3. Separate quicklaunch bars on each monitor.
Cons
My system briefly pauses every few seconds. I also found it impossible to exit the program. Even after I exited it, it kept running. I uninstalled the program, restarted my computer and I still have 3 different wallpapers on 3 monitors.
Summary
Great if you don't mind your system slowing a lot, Otherwise it's not for you. Your best bet is to download the free trial and see how it gets on with your system. It's such a pity it's a system hog - it would have been a great addition.

If you have 3 monitors like me then you need this program. I also have a huge TV attached to my system and I would be very frustrated if I did not have this software. - I can control all my backgrounds including random changes - I can see my windows start button on all my monitors - great for not having to run back and forth from my PC to my TV - I can change my windows login image - I can control all my keyboard shortcuts
Cons
Software continuously tries to access the developer's website until you buy the product but well worth the money.

It's done everything that windows wasn't able to do with 2 screens ... two different images , one image stretched, two task bars ( trial version ) I don't think I've even scratched the surface lol

You have to buy the real version to do some of the cool things

Overall its a great program and it does what it says it'll do ... was very hard to settle for free version when some of the options belonged in the pay side so I bought the program ... I think both options a re very good but if you would like more functionality you may buy the pro version too
