  It's fast and good

  Used to be free, but it's not anymore. Now, after a VERY short trial period, they want you to pay for it. Nope, not when I had it on my other computer for completely free for YEARS. There are plenty of others out there that ARE free.

  Don't bother with it unless you plan to buy it, because it is no longer free.

  I very much like the simplicity of the program. Files fly to their respective folders with ease and accuracy.

  Good software but nothing special as other programs

  Cons

  Just the same features, nothing special and this "Free"version is only trial. Look for Filezilla, the same and free.

  If others really FREE versions has ALL the classic features, why we have to pay it? This "free" version is just a trial version

• Don't Waste Your Money

  Doesn't work. , no support when I emailed them with problems.

  I downloaded the Firefox FTP extension and also tried Cyberduck, both free and work great.

  Same as old versions; plus, it NO LONGER FREE.

  Summary

  When you open it, a popup shows up, telling you to purchase the software, insert the the Licence Code or to exit it; when you try to close the tab to see the main window, program closes down. Summary: purchase it or you cannot use it - and, though the price is now discounted to $29.,99, it normally costs $40.00, which ain't cheap. >.<

• PROGRAM FREEZES UP!!!!!

  After the first times, program freezes up.

  Summary

  I used the free version back on my old WinXP-running desktop; so, I took it down on my new Win7 laptop. It seemed fine....tricked my eyes. :| It IS fine only the first times; then, you must NOT use it for more than a few minutes, otherwise the program freezes up and has to be shut down via Windows Task Manager. This issue happened 4 times in a row, so I tried to delete and re-installed the program....same goes. v.v It went so for 2 days; then, I got fed up and deleted the program for good. Do not be fooled by its easy appearance and working, for both last for a very short time; my suggestion is to head over to a more reliable client (like CuteFTP-Pro or WS_FTP).

  Clean layout, very intuitive. Just a nice FTP program. CLASSIC is the perfect name for it.

  Cons

  Can't think of any.

  Summary

  It does everything that I expect out of an FTP program. And the price is right. It has an especially neat and efficient interface. It stores FTP connection info and allows you to specify which folders to open to. I can't find anything to complain about.

  Pros

  Smooth, Transient and easy to use. Nil popups and no advertising with this program.Smooth and sleek, it is perhaps the best FTP program whether you buy it or use the free version.

  Cons

  None. Easy setup and easy to use.

  Summary

  Using many different FTP programs for years, I got sick and tired of chasing after these programs that didn't really do what it was told. I discovered this gem of a program from a disk out of a magazine and Classic FTP has not failed what it promised. There is a simple rule to follow. If you don't like the program, delete it. All in all, it is the only one that I will recomend to all my customers and the best part about this, it's free. Enjoy!
