Although you can quickly hide open programs, applications, and Web sites with this small utility, the program has some limitations. AppAway, which writes itself to the system tray, opens with a much-needed help file. To completely conceal any running program, click the AppAway icon and drag it to the program's main window. In doing so, you won't find any traces in the toolbar or by pressing Alt Tab. Right-clicking the icon will reveal all hidden programs you can unhide individually or simultaneously. Though the application works well, we were disappointed that you can't hide a program if its window is minimized. Any user who wants a quick way to conceal programs will find something to like about AppAway.

AppAway is the easiest way to hide any program. The program will not appear on the screen, in the taskbar or when you alt+tab. AppAway is EASY. Just drag the AppAway icon from the system tray onto the software you want to hide. It doesn't get much easier than that! AppAway is SMALL, 72kb. It's written in C++ without any resource hungry components, which means that AppAway is using as little system resources as possible.
