Wonderful design: 7 Minute Workout Challenge's beautiful interface, with videos and images seamlessly integrated into each exercise page, is a pleasure to look at. The exercise examples, in which you can view a male or female pro performing them in a short animated video, look stunning and teach you how to do each exercise correctly.

Gets you moving: With its clear purpose, wonderful workout animations and images, and callouts before and during exercises, this app works you into a sweat, helping you go through the 12 exercises, which include pushups, tricep dips on a chair, and planks, none of which are particularly easy.

Motivating achievements: As you practice, you unlock achievements that keep you going. If you exercise daily and attain achievements for weeks and months in a row of uninterrupted exercise, you can use them to unlock three premium exercise packs, so that you won't have to pay money for them.


Somewhat boring introduction: Rather than a wall of text that explains the origins of the 7 minute workout in the ACSM sports and health journal, the developers could have used a video or a slideshow to present the concept and the app.

Could provide more information about exercises: The app would be even better if it told us how many calories each exercise burns or what muscle group it trains.
